Jack Palance Dead at 87

Beloved Oscar-winning actor Jack Palance died today of natural causes. Palance was the appeared in such diverse films as Shane, The Professionals, Batman, and City Slickers, for which he won his Academy Award, and so famously performed one-armed push-ups during his acceptance speech at 70 years old.

Palance was known for his gruff exterior and gravelly voice that hid a mischievous fun-loving inside. He will be greatly missed.
