Basil Poledouris Dead at 61
SoundtrackNet reported today that Basil Poledouris, renowned composer of such varied works as Conan the Barbarian, The Hunt for Red October, and Les Miserables, died today from cancer. He was 61.
The film music world has suffered a great loss. He will be missed.
