"Slumdog" Wows NY Post Critics

Lou Lumenick and Kyle Smith of the NY Post have gotten an early start on the top ten list game with their respective best of 2008 lists:

Lou Lumenick:
  1. Slumdog Millionaire
  2. WALL-E
  3. Milk
  4. A Christmas Tale
  5. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
  6. Iron Man
  7. Revolutionary Road
  8. The Visitor
  9. Synecdoche, New York
  10. Waltz With Bashir
Kyle Smith:
  1. Slumdog Millionaire
  2. Man on Wire
  3. Seven Pounds
  4. The Dark Knight
  5. 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 3 Days
  6. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
  7. Vicky Cristina Barcelona
  8. Doubt
  9. Rachel Getting Married
  10. Funny Games
Some very good choices. Glad to see I'm not the only one who considers 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days a 2008 film. I feel justified now.

I'm loving the love for Slumdog, but I hope it doesn't result in a backlash. Also good to see some love for Synecdoche, New York and Waltz with Bashir...but I'm not getting the love for A Christmas Tale. Oh well, to each his own.

Thanks to Sam Juliano for the heads up.
