Jeffrey Wells Goes for "Che"

As if anyone was really surprised, although I'll probably end up counting it as a 2009 film, along with IFC's other "one week wonders," Hunger and Gomorrah.

But he and I usually see eye to eye about this sort of thing, so here's his 2008 Best of the Year list:

His inclusion of W surprises me. He was positive on it before but always mildly so. He hasn't seen Waltz with Bashir yet, which is a shame, or Gran Torino, but I'm in the same boat with him on that one until my screener comes in.
