Independent Spirit Award Nominations

For the past few years, the big Spirit Award winner has been an Oscar nominee. Which will it be this time? Without Slumdog Millionaire, which is the de facto Juno/Little Miss Sunshine this year (unfairly, I might add...it's so much better than that), will any of these hit it big with Oscar? Right now it doesn't look like it. Rachel Getting Married, Frozen River, and Ballast are all tied with 6 nods each, although it's probably between Rachel and The Wrestler for the win. But there isn't really a clear front runner, so this is another interesting race in a very strange year.

Also, Savage Grace?? Really?
