"Jai Ho"

I have the 2008 Best Song Oscar winner right here.

If this isn't nominated then I have lost all faith in the music branch. Glorious.

Wow - apparently I need to get this soundtrack ASAP! Is this the song from the end credits?

Yes it is, and you should definitely go out and get the soundtrack. It's my favorite of the year so far.

Nice prediction! Snatched the Golden Globe already.. Oscar?! got to wait and see..

It's looking more and more like a "Wrestler" victory for song, and a "Slumdog" victory for score.

But hey, I can dream, right?

yeah sounds like a classical crib. I can't remember the name of that one but, sounds somewhat close. But, this guy Rahman is a biggie in India. Is that right?

He is a musical genius. You should hear his "Mumbai Theme' and Chhaiyya chhaiyya".

Get "Dil Se". You would love the album for classical and fast track dance songs

Matthew Lucas, how can "The Wrestler" song win when it isn't nominated? There are only 3 songs nominated this year, 2 from Slumdog Millionaire and one from Wall-E.

The song from The Wrestler isn't nominated for an Academy Award this year.

Perhaps you will notice that I posted this on December 2...LONG before the Oscar nominations were announced.
