Semi Blades of Talladega's Glory: The Legend of Bobby Burgundy

If you have seen Anchorman, Talladega Nights, or Blades of Glory, then you have seen Semi-Pro. Seriously, all you have to do is change the sport, character names, and Talladega's puma to a bear, and voila! you have Semi-Pro.

You'd think audiences would have gotten tired of this already. Oh wait...I wonder if that could have anything to do with why the movie seriously underperformed this weekend, even though it came in #1 at the box office? It was projected to gross north of $30 million, but only managed to snag $15 million. Maybe audiences are getting wise to it. Why pay money for something you've seen 3 times already?

Review coming Thursday.

I paid a matinee price for No Country, then snuck in to Semi-Pro (awful), Definitely, Maybe (Surprisingly unsucky) and Spiderwick Chronicles (not bad...if I was 12)

I didn't have very high expectations for Semi-Pro and it missed the mark anyway. I like Will Ferrell and all, but this just wasn't funny.
