"Falling Slowly" is Eligible

After some questions had been raised about the eligibility of "Falling Slowly," the haunting love theme from Once, the Academy's music branch has ruled that it is indeed eligible.

We can all put away our torches and pitchforks. For now.

Thank Goodness for that, I really hope it wins. If a song from Enchanted wins, I will kill myself. Figuratively…
Now I just have to figure out how one does that.
