The Oscar race is really beginning to take shape. Michael Clayton has the support of the directors and producers, Into the Wild has the actors, and No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood have the support of everyone. There are a couple of wild cards here, but I think Clayton will get the Best Pic nod, and miss out on Best Director, which will go to Diving Bell and the Butterfly's Julian Schnabel. Right now, based on the guilds and precursers, I think the final five will be:

INTO THE WILD
JUNO
MICHAEL CLAYTON
NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN
THERE WILL BE BLOOD
