"Departed," "Babel" Tie for Editors' Award

Wow. This was to be the award that helped clear up the Best Picture race, putting either Babel or The Departed ahead. And they tied. As if things couldn't be any more muddy, this happens.
What a year.
"Babel" and "The Departed" were both named best edited feature film, drama, at the 57th Annual ACE Eddie Awards, held Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. It was only the second tie in the history of the awards, presented by the American Cinema Editors.
Dreamgirls, Inconvenient Truth also won
