"Appaloosa"

It's been an extremely busy weekend, but I'm back and fresh from having screened Appaloosa, which I'll admit I was disappointed by.

I was entertained by it, but it is never for a moment as good as 3:10 to Yuma or especially The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. I loved the chemistry between Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen, but I could have done without Renee Zellweger. I'll have a full review up by Thursday.

Well Matthew, yet again I am COMPLETELY in agree with you on this film. Modesty entertaining but nothing special and at the end of the day most disposable.

Very fine review.

I know the feeling Nick. I miss so many press screenings because of school and distance. I'm going to make an increased effort to see as many as possible now that Oscar season is gearing up. With this one though, you're not missing much.

Thanks Sam...I enjoyed myself for two hours, but it's not something I plan to revisit anytime soon.
