On "A Christmas Carol"

Disney has done better with this story before, way back in 1983 with "Mickey's Christmas Carol." With this effort, it seems as if the real substance of the story has been forsaken for technological panache. The elegant simplicity of Dickens' novel is lost somewhere underneath the eye-popping visuals, whittled down to nothing more than a series of pixels and binary code. That sound you hear is Charles Dickens spinning in his grave.
