On "Man of Steel"

From The Dispatch:
Snyder manages to keep things grounded, much the way that Nolan did in his Batman films. "Man of Steel" isn't quite on that level, but Snyder consistently reminds us that what we are watching here is the birth of a legend. He balances the action with some nice character moments, mostly from the supporting cast which includes powerhouses such as Crowe and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Clark's earthly parents.
